1. Who we are
Correspondence is an independent digital art and performance project. This policy explains what information the project handles and why.
2. Information we handle
- Correspondence content. Messages sent to the project's connected inbox, including the sender name and the message body, which may be parsed and published as part of the work.
- Contact form details. The name, email address, and message you choose to submit, used only to respond to you.
- Technical data. Standard server and security logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested.
3. How we use it
Information is used to publish and maintain the artwork, to reply to enquiries and removal requests, and to keep the site secure and functioning. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.
4. Legal basis
Where applicable law requires one, processing rests on legitimate interests in operating and presenting an artistic project, and on consent where you voluntarily send us a message.
5. Published material
Published entries are publicly visible and may be cached or indexed by third parties beyond our control. Please do not send confidential information or details about other people.
6. Service providers
The project relies on third-party providers for email retrieval, hosting, and delivery. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms and only as needed to run the site.
7. Retention
Published entries are kept for as long as the work remains online. Contact form correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, or to object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the contact page.
9. Cookies
The site aims to run without tracking or advertising cookies. Any strictly necessary storage is used only to keep the site working as intended.
10. Children
The site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes and contact
This policy may be updated from time to time; the date above reflects the latest revision. Questions can be sent through the contact page.
